DO YOU PROVIDE LOC EXTENSIONS FOR THE INSTALL SERVICE?
YES we do!! We manufacture our own line of Loc Extensions called, Fashion Dreads that come in various colors, sizes and hair types (kinky to curly).
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
We are a cashless establishment, so no cash, sorry! Why you ask?...It's a safety issue.
We do accept all forms of credit, debit, we can even take Cashapp, Venmo or Zelle if necessary.
DO YOU HAVE FREE WI-FI?
Yes of course. We even have a dedicated Client WiFi portal to access WiFi during your NappStar Experience.
DO YOU ACCEPT WALK-INS?
Yes we do, but we prefer appointment so we can be prepared coordinate the flow of our client experiences better.
DO YOU HAVE CHILDREN’S PRICING?
Sorry, no we do not offer children pricing. Their service times are equal to adults who receive the same services, which is how we base our pricing.
I DON'T WANT PICTURES/VIDEOS WHEN I GET MY HAIR DONE, IS THAT OKAY?
Not a problem at all. Feel free to let the team know that you prefer not to be on camera and we are happy to accommodate your preference.

Yes we are the Instant Loc specialists!! Check out our Instagram page for videos of our stylists' executing this technique to perfection. We offer Instant Starter locs, which is great for all hair textures, and we also offer Crochet Retwists for bi-monthly maintenance.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
We have a NappStar salon location in midtown Manhattan and in the West End area of Atlanta Georgia.
Our warehouse for online retail purchase pick ups is located in Elkridge Maryland.
DO YOU HAVE TO CUT OFF ALL YOUR HAIR TO START LOCS?
NOPE!! Not at NappStar you don’t have to cut your hair unless you want to. We have various Starter Loc techniques and Loc Extensions to start locs on processed and/or heat damaged hair. More than likely you will have to get Instant Starter Locs if you don't have a defined curl pattern.
HOW LONG DOES MY HAIR NEED TO BE TO START LOCS?
Depending on how tight your curl pattern, desired loc size, and desired starter loc technique, you will need 2-6 inches of hair to start locs. The looser your curl pattern, the longer it will need to be to start the locing process.
CAN I GET MY HAIR DONE AT NAPPSTAR EVEN IF MY HAIR ISN’T NATURAL?
Of course!! We welcome everyone to come in and receive services. All we ask is to come with positive vibes, and to be on time for your appointment.
DO YOU DO SISTA LOCS AND MICRO LOCS?
No we do not maintenance Sista locs services but we offer micro loc services at both of our salon locations. We also sell micro loc extensions on our online retail store.
DO YOU NEED AN APPOINTMENT FOR A CONSULTATION?
Yes we do recommend booking an appointment for a consultation through the Appointment section of our website if you feel it's necessary or you have extra long hair. This will allow us to better assist you when you come in.
DO YOU SERVICE ALL HAIR TEXTURES?
Yes we service all hair textures.
HOW CAN I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT WITH ANNETTE?
Unfortunately Annette is no longer taking clients at our salon locations. The clients you see in her videos are models and you can apply to be one by following on IG and sending pics when we do a models call.
She does however do hair on our Tour / Pop ups.
