At NappStar we strive to set the standard for the loc industry, from loc starter methods, loc maintenance, loc extensions, all the way to customer service. We bring you the NappStar Experience that we spent decades perfecting, so that each of your visits to our salon leaves you excited to come back for more. Below is a non exhaustive list of the terms and conditions of our salon.


PAYMENT

We only accept debit and credit card payments. In exceptional circumstances, we will accept CashAapp or Venmo payments. In even more exceptional circumstances, we will accept cash payment with a $10 penalty. 


APPOINTMENTS AND DEPOSITS

We require deposits for all appointments. The deposit amount varies depending on the service(s) you are looking to get done. We reserve the right to require a deposit for any other reason we deem reasonable. This is a deposit, not a booking fee, so the amount paid will be applied to your total due at checkout. 


REFUNDS

If for any reason you are not satisfied with our services, please notify us as soon as possible. We do not offer refunds. 


SOCIAL MEDIA PUBLISHING

If you know our brand, you know that we love sharing updates of what is happening at the salon with our followers. By coming to our salon, you are likely to be photographed/video recorded for publication on our social media. If for any reason you do not want your image being used in our social media posts, please notify us when you make your appointment, or as soon as you come into the salon so we can accommodate your request.


POLICY CHANGES

We reserve the right to modify our services, products, prices, policies and procedures. Please refer to our website for any updates.


REFUND POLICY

  • NappStar is unable to return the following items: 
  • Opened packages of Loc Extensions and / or Afro Kinky Hair. 
  • Products that have been manipulated, washed, installed, chemically processed, dyed and / or tampered with. 
  • Hair Styling Products and / or Shampoos, Oils
  • Mannequins
  • Virtual class or Training
  • All items on sale


Exchanges:

We no longer offer Exchanges. We will submit a Return (based on the Return qualifications below) and you can purchase the new items of your choice


Returns and Return Process: 

  • Returns must be requested & submitted within 7 days of delivery. 
  • All returns will be charged a 25% restocking fee for ALL returns, regardless of the reason. 
  • Postage must be within 7 days of delivery or it won’t qualify for a return and the customer has to pay to ship it back to themselves. 
  • At your cost, ship your package with tracking to: Fashion Dreads Returns, 6655 Amberton Drive #M, Elkridge MD 21075. Make sure to include your packing slip and all the contents of your order. 
  • Email fashiondreadsorders@gmail.com with your order #, tracking #, and return reason, and pictures (if necessary).
  • Once the order has been received by the NappStar team we will email to let you know we received it. 


Refund method: Once your return is approved and fully processed we will issue you a refund via your payment method used to purchase within 3-5 business days. 

Refunds can take 3-7 days depending on your bank. 


WE DO NOT REFUND SHIPPING COSTS PAID BY CUSTOMERS OR NAPPSTAR.


Disclaimer: NappStar is not responsible for returns until they reach our Return / Exchange Center. Keep your proof of postage and ship your return along with a tracking number as we are not liable for return / exchange packages that are lost or stolen in transit. Without proof of receipt and delivery, NappStar will not issue you an exchange or refund.


PRIVACY POLICY

NappStar is strongly committed to protecting your personal information. We won’t sell, disclose, or share your personal identifying information collected on our website or other platforms to or with any other party. 


LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

NappStar does not accept liability beyond the solutions set forth herein, including, but not limited to, the provision of services and support. NappStar will not be accountable for consequential, special, indirect or punitive damages even if advised of the possibility of such damages, or for any claim by any third party except as expressly provided herein. This limitation of liability applies both to products and services. For any liability related to the purchase of products, NappStar is not liable or responsible for any amount of damages above the aggregate dollar amount paid by customers for the purchase of the product(s) at issue. For any liability related to the purchase of services, NappStar is not liable or responsible for any amount of damages above the aggregate dollar amount paid by customers for the purchase of the service(s) at issue.
